This presentation will focus on Amendment 3 of the Missouri Constitution that was approved by the voters on November 8, 2022, legalizing the production, distribution and use of recreational marijuana, and imposing additional protections for individuals using medical marijuana in the State of Missouri. During this presentation, Mr. Hetlage will address issues related to maintaining a drug-free workplace, differences between state and federal laws regarding marijuana use, best practices for drug testing, recommended in-service training for HR professionals and managers and supervisors in the workplace, and additional protections in the workplace for individuals using medical marijuana in the State of Missouri.
